American greyhound is a 501c3 not for profit organization. We have been in service since October of 2000. Our hounds come from greyhound racetracks as close as Wisconsin and as far away as Texas or Alabama . We put many of our new friends in foster care so that when they are adopted they have had a chance to adapt to a home atmosphere. Remember, they are just like new puppies. They have never used stairs; they've never seen a sliding glass door or a mirror.
