It's a boy Congratulations Hannah

Mr. Sir is a fun, loving and very affectionate boy; he is super smart but very cautious with everyone he meets. He greets us with a wagging tail and a nose nuzzle. Mister loves his toys that squeak and he walks great on the leash. He is very good in a crate and will sometimes crate himself. He was in our Second Chance for Life program and can perform all his commands with ease. He can sit, stay, lie down and come. As an added treat he can also speak on command. Mr. Sir is content to curl up on the floor where ever you may be he loves all the attention you are willing to give him with hopes of so much more. Mr Sir would do best in a home with older children.

American Greyhound has partnered with "2nd Chance at Life", a prison foster program for retired racing greyhounds.

2nd Chance at Life (SCAL) places retired racers, directly off the track, into their prison foster program for obedience training and socialization.  They receive ten weeks of training from two inmate caretakers and leave as good canine citizens.

The Adoption Fee for a 2nd Chance at Life dog is $300 which helps support this program
