Hoolihan is a beautiful red Greyhound at the age of 5. She is not only beautiful, but she is a real Lady!  She currently lives in harmony with a Boxer.  She loves the outdoors, and long walks.  She is very gentle, and kind.  She loves to play with all kinds of dog toys, and she even loves going in the small pool in the yard.  Hoolihan truly knows the life of retirement!  A true couch potato!  She will be your forever friend if you let her!

2nd_chance.gifAmerican Greyhound has partnered with "2nd Chance at Life", a prison foster program for retired racing greyhounds.

2nd Chance at Life (SCAL) places retired racers, directly off the track, into their prison foster program for obedience training and socialization.  They receive ten weeks of training from two inmate caretakers and leave as good canine citizens.

The Adoption Fee for a 2nd Chance at Life dog is $300 which helps support this program
