Ozark Randy

  • Male
  • Date of Birth 4/4/2008
  • Color Fawn
  • Not Cat/Small Animal Tolerant
  • Trained in a 9 week prison program
  • AG #1223

Adam graduated from the SCAL prison program and will do his commands both with and without a treat (but much quicker with a treat!). Adam does not do well as an only dog as he needs the companionship of another dog to feel secure. He is not small animal friendly but lives with a four-year-old boy and does very well with him. Adam is very affectionate and seems to “attach” to his people quickly. He loves to be in the same room with people and even likes to lay in the bathroom while his foster mom gets ready for work. Adam does just fine with stairs and slippery floors and thunderstorms. You will not find a more loyal dog than Adam.

Nicki is a big girl who is very gentle and loving.  Although she is not small animal tolerant, she lives in her foster home with another greyhound and a very active boxer, and they all get along nicely. Nicki likes long walks, riding in the car, and spending time in the yard.  She likes playing with fuzzy toys and her favorite toys are balls.  She is a little hesitant about linoleum floors, but does hardwood and also does the stairs well.  She crates with no issues.  Nicki would probably do better with children over the age of 7-8 only because she is a very large girl.  Anyone who adopts her will be getting a very sweet girl.  Please think about giving Nicki her forever home.
