Raymond – 1529
  • Kennel Name: Raymond
  • male
  • DOB: approx. 9/7/10
  • likely cat/small animal tolerant
  • AG # 1529

Everybody Loves Raymond!!! This small, good looking red-head is extremely affectionate and will have you charmed by his sweetness in no time. Raymond is a greyhound mix that was rescued from Ohio, is approximately three years old and wants nothing more than to be the love of your life. Raymond lives with another greyhound as well as two cats and gets along well with everyone. The stairs and slippery floors don’t faze Raymond and he loves to play with stuffies and chew on nylabones. Raymond probably lived outside most of his life in Ohio and is now learning about life inside a home and is making great progress. This very curious boy is working on refining his house manners.  Raymond loves to be wherever his family is and will show you how much he loves you with a wag of his tail. Walks are another of Raymond’s favorite activities and his leash walking skills are exceptional. Raymond does have some minor separation anxiety when crated while his foster family is not home but it was discovered that if his greyhound foster sister is kept in the same room he is crated in he does fine. Because of this Raymond would probably do best if he would have another dog in his new home that he could hang out with when his family is not home. Raymond is dreaming of a forever family to call his own. Can you make his dreams come true?

She loves to roo and “talk” to us and is really comical to watch as her spunky personality begins to emerge. Grit has never had an accident in the house and is learning the house manners of not countersurfing (though she loves bread). • Kennel Name: Ruger
  • male
  • DOB: approx. 8/17/09
  • likely cat/small animal tolerant

Ruger is on the shy and timid side but has made great strides in the short time he has been with his foster family. Give him a little time to get to know you and you will have a friend for life. Ruger loves to play in the yard with his greyhound foster sister and could care less about the two cats that he shares the house with. Slippery floors and stairs don’t bother Ruger and he loves to play with stuffies and to chew on a good bone.  Ruger willingly goes into his crate but he isn’t fond of spending too much time in it. He is still working on some house manners and leash walking skills but should have those mastered in no time.  A quiet household with no small children would probably be best for Ruger as he can be easily spooked by sudden and loud noises and movements. Hanging out on soft, comfy cushions is what this very easy-going, laid-back guy loves to do. Can he come hang with you?
