Sis – 1800 Adoption Pending

Sis – 1800 Adoption Pending

Kennel Name: Sis
Registered Name: Samboya’s Sis
female
DOB: 10/10/13
likely cat/small animal tolerant
AG # 1800

Sis is well on her way to becoming a great companion. She has mastered stairs, glass and mirrors and is living quietly with a cat and three other dogs. She is quite shy, even a little afraid of the dark (she sleeps with a night light currently); but a little patient encouragement helps her along when she goes out at night. Sis loves to receive and give affection and to play with others. A favorite pastime is finding large sticks in the yard and proudly strutting around the yard with them. She is very curious and is still learning about staying off of counters and out of closets. She is a beautiful dog, and gets lots of compliments wherever she goes. Sis sometimes needs a little help with her crate; but she has made great strides since coming off the track. If she sounds like the sweetheart you are wanting to welcome into your home and heart, contact us today!

Oliver – 1797 Adoption Pending

Kennel Name: Oliver
Registered Name: Over Drive
male
DOB: 11/27/11
not likely cat/small animal tolerant
AG # 1797

Oliver came into foster care Oct. 24th. Since being in a foster home, his foster family has noticed he is one chill, cool boy! He would rather lay around on a dog bed than play tug of war with his foster grey brother, who always begs all the dogs to play with him. He is a gentle giant, that will be around 80-85 lbs once he puts on a few pounds. He’s quickly learning his house manners.  Oliver loves peanut butter filled kongs and prefers them over regular dog treats. He still hesitates taking anything out of your hands, but he’s learning treats are a wonderful yummy thing! Oliver has been on a few walks and his foster mom is super impressed at how well he does on leash, no pulling unless he sees that squirrel. He loves getting belly rubs and affection, but  in general is independent and will go in the other room for a snooze on occasion. He is not one to be called a “velcro” dog and is happy sleeping away the day without a care in the world. Oliver is adjusting very well to retirement. He’d be happiest in a home without cats or small dogs, but would do great with other medium-large sized dogs.  If Oliver seems like that perfect boy for you, contact us today!

Kennel Name: Roulette
Registered Name: Imark Roulette
female
DOB: 5/22/14
Cat/small animal tolerance TBA

Roulette came off the track at just 17 months old because she suffered a seizure at the track. They believe the seizure was medication induced, but just to be safe, she is now sleeping on a dog bed in my living room. Most girls when spayed are down for a few days, and have vomiting and no eating. Roulie is such a tough cookie that you would never even know she was cut wide open, instantly coming home from the vet, she walked in the house and yard as usual, ate as usual, no signs of any pain; what a champ. She is young and playful but not rambunctious like you might think being so young. She has great house manners, never tried to take anything off the counters or table and isn’t afraid of the stairs of slippery floors. Roulie absolutely loves every toy in her foster home, takes them one by one and stacks them up on her bed, and then plays with each one. She is a funny character, very pretty fawn with dark muzzle, tough as nails and looking for her forever home; might it be yours??

Sully

Sully

Kennel Name: Sully
Registered Name: Silky O’ Sullivan
male
DOB: 3/17/14
Cat/small animal tolerance TBA

Silky O’Sullivan has quite a story to tell; as he is an orphan. His mother died when he was just 3 weeks old, so he and his litter-mates were bottle fed the remainder of the weening time. Because of that, the trainer said he didn’t develop confidence and “attitude” needed to be a competitive racer, so he was retired at just 19 months old. Sully is over the top affectionate and wants to be with his people whenever possible; also great house manners. He crates when told to, but definitely prefers to be out and about with his family. Being so young, he is a hoot to watch out in the yard, awkwardly running and playing and taking every inside toy possible outside with him. Sully if a very vibrant red color that really draws attention from the crowds. He even has a curly tail! Add in the young puppy face and long skinny body, he is quite the show stopper. If you want to give silly Silky O’Sullivan a forever home and make him an orphan no longer, please fill out an application and let’s give this angel a home for the holidays.
